Policies and Rules

  • This home is pet friendly. Guests may bring dogs.
  • Pet rent: $25/night per dog plus tax.
  • No smoking allowed.
  • Minimum age: 25 years.
  • Children allowed.
  • No events allowed.
  • Maximum of 10 guests. Please do not exceed maximum occupancy limits.

Fees and Payments

  • Firewood for the outdoor fire pit may be purchased at the time of booking or with a week's notice. You receive two wrapped, kiln-dried bundles and a fire starter for $25 plus tax.
  • Pet rent: $25/night per dog plus tax.
  • All bookings are subject to a $50 cancellation fee.

Parking and Vehicle Requirements

  • 4WD/AWD and/or chains are recommended during winter (Nov-March) for all homes. Travelers visiting during the winter months where inclement weather may be possible should come prepared with an AWD or 4WD vehicle, and chains may also be required if it snows. No refunds, allowances, or date changes will be given to travelers who are not prepared with the proper vehicle, as outlined in the Rental Agreement.

Utilities and Amenities Access

  • Well-stocked kitchen with utensils, cookware, and basic dishes provided.
  • Starter set of paper products provided: a roll of toilet paper per bath, several garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, some laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and makeup remover cloths. These are enough for one or two nights.
  • Hair dryers are not provided. Towels and linens are provided.
  • Amenities include: high-speed internet, dishwasher, clothes washing machine, clothes dryer, climate control, stove, oven, refrigerator, microwave/convection oven, hot tub, patio, and free parking.

Safety and Emergency Information

  • When Appalachian Ski Mountain is making snow, snow may blow across the road and onto the lower portion of this home. Exercise caution when walking or driving around the property during these times.
  • This home is located at over 4200' elevation and may experience heavy snowfall in winter months.

Cancellation Policy

  • Bookings canceled 60+ days before arrival: refund of deposit.
  • Bookings canceled 31-59 days before arrival: 50% refund of deposit.
  • Bookings canceled within 30 days of arrival: not entitled to a refund unless reservation dates are rebooked to another traveler.
  • All bookings are subject to a $50 cancellation fee.
